Poker

My friend Pradeep is a very enthusiastic (and also a VERY good) poker player. He is trying to bring me up to speed. The thing is that, I am, by nature, a cautious coward. So, is No Limit Hold 'em really the game for me?

You may think that it's more dangerous to play NL, but in reality No-Limit has lesser variance than limit. You can play the micro-stakes usually starting 1c/2c blinds with 5$ stacks.

I suggest you start with NL because it's actually easy to learn. Like I said once, it's a game of big edges, so it's ok if you don't see the small edges right away. In limit, it's about exploiting small edges again and again and again. Boring at times, actually.

Hope that makes sense.
