Of course, it has to be.. the open source community has taken what Apple does best and has turned it on its head. Here is a Youtube video of what your desktop could be like. This is done with the power of Beryl, which is an OpenGL accelerated desktop which works with KDE. The funky Mac OS X like dock (but funkier and reportedly more powerful) is KXDocker.
