I don't think it is a stupid decision. The baby is too young to go through emotional trauma for this. At least they tried and was honest about it. Now someone else can have the chance of bringing up the baby. Millions of babies go through foster parents until they get adopted. Perhaps the stupid people are those who are his biological parents. Where are they? I think the only people who have a right to negatively comment about this are people who have successfully adopted someone else's kids.
